So Singapore's government has decided to built the casino anyway...well it's about time.Not that I'm all for the building of casino but I'm not against it either.It's just that why bother to debate over it for a few weeks now when the answer is obvious.But I'm just a bit puzzled.I heard in the news,our PM mentioned that the 2 "recreation centre" will be on Sentosa and Marina.At MArine,it will somehow cater to the higher class people considering its close proximity to the CBD area.It will be used for meetings,exhibitions,yada yada yada .Wait a minute,isn't that Suntec City Convention Hall.And the one at Sentosa will be of family oriented entertainment with theme park,restaurant and a small casino.Don't mind me again but isn't that Asian Village minus the casino that is.But whatever it is,I hope it does bring in the tourists and money(duh!) coz if it's not...that's a huge waste of our fund.
