I hate this particular security guard at my mom's workplace.Reason?He's an asswipe.
He always talk rudely to the foreign workers a.k.a the banglas.So ok they're from Bangladesh...and they don't have much education,much to say English but that doesn't give you the reason to treat them like shit.For goodness sake,you're not even the boss.You're just one pundek security guard.I overheard this conversation between him and this one Bangla guy.
Guard:So you think you're a hero ah?Go back to your country la if you want to be hero.This is Singapore you know.One call from me and I'll have you send back to your country.
Bangla guy:*looks down*
Guard:Oi why you look down.Face up.Look at me.
bangla:No Sir,I was helping him.That guy.....
Guard:Don't try to be hero la.You gangster now is it.
What the fuck man.What kind of attitude is that.The poor bangla guy didn't even talk back or raise his voice.He was talking in the most polite voice and this is how you treat him.Seriously,I can't take this shit.OK so sometimes bangla workers can be quite irritating with their staring/glaring and occasional misconduct.But there's a limit of how much shit one person can take and that guard has exceeded that limit.He's here to find greener pastures, not to be looked down upon especially by a mere security guard whose weapon is the walkie talkie.
And this wasn't the first time.I heard aplenty.
That guard had better not cross my path.
