Don't worry people,I'm still very much single and probably will be for pretty long time to come.As I said,I'm heartbroken coz of men,not any particular guy but men in general.You see I've never been very lucky in the men department.Pretty much ever since I was born.So I'm just generally heartbroken.But it's ok I'll bounce back.I always do coz you need to go up before you fall down again ,right?
Enough talking about men.Let's talk about Singapore Idol.
How do you defined a good singer,great even?When he made his parents cried.Ya probably.When he made his fans cried.Yes I cried yesterday!But before you go on and say wah Siti why so emotional?Let me tell you something.Even my grandfather cried ok.He was crying so ahrd he went to the toilet to hide.Haha.Serious I'm not lying.In the words of Isnan "Emotional family you have". Come on people,you have to admit he did sang very well and his sincerity is evident.
Jon did very well too I think.I may not understand most of what he's singing about but when I heard him,I asked Isnan if I can marry 2 guys.He then replied that it's wrong to do so.So I suggested why not I marry one and take the other as a boy toy.Again I was told I can't do that.Clearly I was distraught.But when Hady came on stage a few minutes later,I know who I want to marry already.The one and only.Ok I know I'm supposed to talk about Jon now but haiyah cannot la.I'm in love.Jon was good.Hady was cair-ified.Hearing him sing is like letting a chocolate mousse cake melt in the blazing sun.
I really hope Joakim would be out today.Seriously please let him out today.Do you know what the critic say in Today's newspaper today.It clear that even if he(Joakim) belch out alphabets on stage,he would still be voted in.Which is true.I think it's time to let him out.I may not like him but I would want him out not because of my hatred towards him but because there's so much criticisms one can take.He had enough so don't torture him anymore.As Flo said let him have a dignified exit.
Jasmine was bad also.Oh my God,don't that girl know this is a singing competition.She keep choosing all these stupid songs.Nurul was good,I think her singing is improving.But ya she is a lil bland and listening to her sing in malay is like asking a matsalleh reciting pantun.Paul was good too I think.Well he may not be as good as many others but hey he's improving I say.It's clear he did try to improve himself.
But seriously people,you have to vote for the best singer.And since you're here...ah might as well.

Oh talking about SI(yes people,there's more)..I read Lime magazine august issue and I was outrage.Outrage is a harsh word,hmmm let's say I'm offended.Lime interviewed Nurul and asked her this "When Taufik won,some people say it's because he had the Malay community rallied behind him,do you think your chances this year is split 3 way(Hady,Nurul,Rahimah...she wasn't out then)?
I'm really offended.Yes Taufik is part of the malay community but I think he won becuase he deserves to win.He sings well,he performed well.He's got the package.And Singapore vote for him because of that.To bring in race as to why he won is just racist in my opinion.So what, if Slyvester were to win last year,would you say the Chinese community rallied behind him.No right?I really hope this writer mind his/her words.It's called Singapore Idol for a reason.If she wants to bring in race/ethnicity in,then don't call herself a reporter.
