Went to Lavender today to get my mum's passport.For the absolutely first time,my mum actually praised me.She say I look pretty today.Hahahahaha.My mum never says I'm pretty.We're a teasing family so to hear a praise is really once in a pink moon.
I,however, think my mum look too old for her age.My mum used to be very gorgeous.Well I still do think she is but you get my drift la.But old age,her sickness and working has really took a toll on her.
See, you can even notice that she's bogey.But despite all this,my mum look remarkably more like my late grandma as days goes by.How come I don't look like my mum?
After that we went to Arab St.Always wanted to go there to look at the cloths.After much looking,I blew quite a sum of (mom's)money on this year baju kurung outfit.And it's not even a ready made baju kurung..just the cloth so that I can tailor-made the baju kurungs(I never buy ready made...simply bcoz not many Singaporeans are as "cute" as me =p). $210 for 2 piece suit la.Aiyah,now I feel the pinch.However just now what I felt was just euphoria.
You see I had wanted to have a black and white baju kurung for this year since last year.But being the very picky and detailed me,I don't want to settle for any just black n white cloths.It had to have a certain design.So after roaming Geylang and Arab Street today...I've finally found it!!!!!
This thing alone cost me $120 a suit ok.What the hell?I was very reluctant to get it at first coz if one thing we all know I hate buying expensive stuff unless I really really need it.But my mum being a mum she is,don't mind and told me to just get it.So yeah...I'm happy.
It's the 2nd piece I'm feeling the pinch.I was co-erced into buying it.I find it rather old-ish.But my mum and Pipi assure me it look good.But seriously....aiyah....$90 u know and I don't like it.What the fuck?Don't you feel like sitting on me?

Shit la...I better start loving it la.Or I'll just feel guilty for the whole of Hari raya for wasting money.
Anyway if you're looking for kain(cloth) I seriously suggest Arab St.So many kain and very nice too.Just that the prices are way too steep even though they say it's on Sale.Can you imagine a shop wanting to sell me Italian lace which they claimed to be on sale for $120 a metre.Want to die ah?
