So I'm back from KL...The trip was aite. Had fun, cleared myself of touristic shame...yes another soci term I introduced to the gang which ,expectedly, they keep repeating it throughout the whole trip. It was crazy I tell you, all the crazy antics which obviously comes from these crazy people I put my trust on...of which comes to think of it...is crazy of me..It seems that crazy resonates from this whole trip...A crazy theme if you would call it.Ok enough of the word crazy...Let me just give you the run down of the KL trip...and be warned that there's 40 odd photos and loads of writing, with many grammar, spelling, punctuation mistakes of course!Oh oh and be wary I may speak like a Malaysian too.Haha....possibly 3 loghat(accent) at a go, mind you. Not my fault. They all told me to act and try(TRY is the imperative word here) to talk like a Malaysian, to be exact from Johor Skudai, so that we won't get ketuk(overcharged).

Day 1
Set off from Larkin at 10am. We took the bus...I think it's call Jelita something. The bus was aite. The bus could certainly be in better shape but I think the seats are quite comfy and it was cool that we got the bus to ourselves...well at least almost to ourselves. There were only 8-9 passenger...6 of which are us. The rest said that the bus reeks..But I couldn't smell anything so it was aite. But the whole bus was drenched I tell you. From the dripping curtains to the floor. I know it's raining pretty heavily outside but inside the bus...That's remarkable.

On the way to KL,we saw cars involved in an accident. From far, I thought it was the normal car collided with another car, nothing biggy albeit the policemen there. But I forgot, this is Malaysia. It was scary, one car was crushed pretty badly. I don't know if the driver would still be alive. The cars were off the road, under the railings. Scary shit.

Reached Puduraya around 4 I think. Wanted to go to Sogo but our tour guide a.k.a Nisah wasn't very sure how to get there so we settle for Mydin which is just next to Puduraya.I guess you can say Mydin is the KL version of Mustafa except for it's a tad smaller and there's no selling of wet stuff. Imagine a hypermarket w/o the market. We didn't plan to do anything the first day there so it was off to Duta Vista. Wanted to get a taxi but it was ridiculuous I tell you. All the taxi doesn't want to switch on their meters. So we settle for this man's van. It was a lil scary. The van was pretty out of shape, dirty netherless. He promised for 5RM each(= 30RM ride), he would try to find the place, no additional cost for getting lost or whatsoever....Hah! So much for no added cost. Once we reached there and upon seeing how fancy wancy the place is, he asked for 1RM extra each. We refused of course so he left rather peeved. His wife who was riding in front with him couldn't do anything except to just smile at us. He's already charging like 10RM extra coz it would cost like less than 10RM each if we were to take 2 taxis there...tsk tsk. Apo ajo pakcik ni.

The suite was great. I know coz I slept like at 6pm. You see, I woke up at 3 am that day and was drenched coz clever me don't bring umbrella. So from Bukit Panjang to Larkin, I was caught in every possible rain there is. So that explains why I was sick and why I slept way way way earlier than the rest. Sorry babes, a bit party spoiler...but I need that sleep. The pasta was great though. but Sorry I slept again after dinner..Haha....

Day 2

The shopping begins..... What more can I say....We went to Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang which is like next to each other..like Harbourfront and Vivovity albeit the smaller and crampier space.

I can safely say this... the next time I want to go shopping in KL, I need to lose like gazillion pounds of weight and have smaller feet coz there's so many shoes and fucking cheap may I add...Hello like some of the shoes are like 10RM....10RM for heels!!!!I so sad...Didn't bought anything...yes nothing at all...How pathet right? You see, I tried on so many shoes...But all cannot fit...some can la...pi macam godobos kaki aku gitu noh. There's this one shop called Theme at Bukit Bintang. I asked for a shoe....she went off for like 10 minutes and never came back. When I saw her at the cashier and asked her for my shoe, then...Little Miss Inefficient declare...oh takde...I'm like are you kidding me,I waited for 10 minutes and you have the cheek of not telling me, at all! Bingit...bingit!!!!

@ The shop with a smile before Little Miss Inefficient spoilt the mood.

Next we went to Petaling Street, Chow Kit...however you wanna call it...
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
(We went there at night, this was taken on the bus ride home. I was afraid to take out my cam there, esp at night bustling with people.)

I had the most fun there. I like it albeit being told it's the scarier version of Bugis, a ganster paradise. I had fun taking the persona of being Malaysian so that I would get a good deal. Yes Isnan, I was minah malaysia...but at least I chose to.Haha.In fact I was minah malaysia for the 4 days there....although i must say, the people there don't believe me.Duh! Do I look like one! But hey if telling a white lie can save me money...Bring it on I say Bring it on!!!Save almost 50RM.

Here's a few of the convo I had with the seller

Me:Brape ni(tali pegang)?
Seller: 45ringgit
Me: Mahalnye. Kat kedai jual 35,kau nak jual aku 45(it's true anyway though at the shops, the belt head(?) is smaller. The one I bought here was big and had this spinning thingy)
Seller:ok 35
Me:tak nak la, aku nak 25. Kalau aku orang SIngapore takpe jugak kau nak bohong(Hahahaha!), aku orang KL tau.
Seller:Pasal kau orang KL la aku kasi kau ni harga, tadi ade matsalleh tu, aku mintak die 65RM(and he's not lying, I see many westerners get overcharged like crazy...like almost triple the prices I paid)
Me:25 la...bole la...25
Seller:30...last.
Me:Tak nak...aku nak 25
Seller: 29 la
Me:(Took out 28RM) aku ade 28 je.
Seller:*Shrug it off and gave me the belt*

Me:3 baju 30RM la
Seller 2: Tak bole la, 45, ni wa sudah kasi kurang dari 18ringgit tau.
Me:eh aku beli 3 tau. bole la
Seller2: *busy counting mentally though visibly struggling to do so, it was funny I tell you, he had this funny look while counting* tak bole 15 satu.
I persisted and managed to get 13 bucks each. Not bad considering in Singapore, they are selling the same stuff for $12

Me bargaining

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So in total, bought 3 T-shirts, 1 chunky belt, 1 cap and 3 watches for 100RM.Good deal I tell you. Of course, all these stuff wasn't meant for me...little generous me just had to buy some for the cousins at home.Shima and Dee bought perfumes of which I was the "smeller".. Since I have been going for perfume smelling escapades, it seems dutiful of me to tell them if they should get the perfumes.Haha. They bought Purple by Hugo..and the smell was pretty exact.Good deal for 20RM.Would have bargain for lesser if not for the policemen going around. The seller had to seel the perfumes as if he's selling drugs to us. A lot of hiding of stuff under the table and hushing. I also get to see how corrupted the police, well at least some ,are but I shouldn't bother to explain la eh.The best part of the trip was obviously the bargaining and the signboard. It was stated there " Dilarang menjual produk-produk cetak rompak"...Hello have you seen Petaling Street. The whole street is filled with counterfeit stuff. From the VCD to the bags. What irate me there though was that everything are counterfeits, there wasn't any shop selling at least some non-carbon copy stuff. At Bugis, you see all the unique stuff, over there,it's all the same carbon copy. And also, I was called many times Amoi.Adui sakit nye hati...Amoi aku kene. Yang lain kene Ina.Aku kene Amoi.

Went to ate at Nando's next.Well at least Shima went to eat. I bought Ramli Burger home. I know Singapore Ramli burger is happening but however they do it here, I still think M'sia esp KL Ramli burger kick ass.

We went KLCC!!!!

I finally did shopping for myself that day. Spend a lot for 2 blouse,200RM but hey if you change it back to Sing dollar, I save a couple tens of bucks. Before that we went to queue for the Skybridge tix first which we got. Then off to breakfast at Burger King. My virgin breakfast at BK.wakaka.

The ride up the elevator is definitely a memorable one. The guide punye la slang...well understandable since there are many Westeners. but the funny part was when we reach the 41st floor. This is how the conversation goes

Shima the guide: *in thick pretensious slang*Ladies and gentlemen, we have now reached the 41st floor...... we are now 170m above the street level....You now have 1 minute to cross the skybridge from here to there and back.
Me: 1 minute?!
Diana: On your mark get set go ke
Shima my friend: Dia nak kite shuttle run ke ape.
(We were at the back of the pack, of course, dunno if she heard us... I think someone at the front asked her to clarify the mistake of which she replied)
Shima the guide: Oh that was a joke, I meant you have 10 minutes.

Da salah tu salah la oi!!!!!

Next was Jalan Masjid where Shima borong 10 tudungs...Tsk tsk...Shima Shima. And we all bought brooch for our mums coz 1) I can't find a nice jubah for my mum and knowing her taste(and mine), she won't like the cloths and tudungs there. 2) Dee don't know just what to get her mum.

Then we went to Bukit Bintang again..where I gave up and went for reflexology and let the other 2 very fit ladies carry on with their shopping. The reflexology was both good and painful. And scary too...coz the blind lady(it was the reflexology centre by the blind) was pretty accurate at telling me that I have diabetes and neck problems. She then adviced me to take good care of myself coz she says there's signs that my diabetes is getting worse. Thanks Lady...I will take note. You gotta believe her man. She's blind...and I believe that blind people tend to have better, maybe doubled or tripled that of normal person's senses. So insyaAllah, I'm going to take extra good care. But ya, I did a bit of shopping too,I bought 2 bags there.

Oh anyway the other 3 went to their own shopping spot and brought back quite great deals themselves esp the blouses from Kamdar. 9RM each...that's way good la. Lucky I can't wear any more long sleeves blouses. Kalau tak gigit jari babe! Macam gempak gitu noh tengok mereka membeli belah. Dek orang besok tak le shopping gitu.

We wanted to go Zouk that night too but looking at how tired we were ,especially me, coz my legs ,I swear, was killing me and the night before we spent on laughing and singing till 3am, we decided to forgo it. There'll be some other time, I think, hope so.Beside we leaving early the next day...coz it's home sweet home.

Day 4
It was the day to go home! We spent the whole morning taking photos of the suite of course. Cam whore katakan.

On our way home, we were bombarded with sights of floods. Kesian seh. I saw a few houses halfway submerged in the murky waters.

But alhamdulilah the roads weren't flooded and we made it home safe.Alhamdulilah.

All I can say about the trip was gempak babe. 4 days and you get to see everyone's true colour. I didn't know Shima was that crazy. Menyanyi la, makeover la....wah seh...gampak babe. And the best part was sleeping next to her. The last night there, I was awakened by her laughing, her murmuring " Geramnye" with the emmm emmm emmm, her pulling the sheets off the bed. Funny shit. I was told also that I made noises. I now know I snore.Haha. Ok that was embarassing but I hope I wasn't loud. Ouh and I was told, I made orgasm sounds.Haha....No I wasn't horny...I was just sleeping...as to whether if I was dreaming of anything sexual...tak tau la noh.

It was aite...I had fun.Till I see you babes at Evelyn's party

The end.

I told you it's going to be very long.
