I like long bus ride....Coz during those time,my mind wanders and more than often I think about what to blog....apart from the mindless entry of what I did today..yada yada yada. But amazingly once I reach home and plopped myself in front of the laptop...all that crazy and amazing ideas to blog disappears into thin air. Oh well...
I do want to say though that I think The Dancefloor is quite pointless. I know who's going to win anyway. Either Platinum or Soul Fusion...coz face it, the judges loooveeee this 2 and they won't let them off the competition for nuts. I like Platinum coz I think they're good. But I do not...i repeat... I DON"T like soul fusion. Yesterday Bill made an offer for anyone to explain why the viewers are not voting for Soul Fusion. Well Mr Bill... let me say...for myself...that Soul Fusion lacks the appeal. Sure they dance well but that's the thing they dance too well with all the technical skills and whatnots that it feels like watching a dance recital at the Esplanade...you know those recitals where any laymen will go HUH? Of course the judges being the "dance experts", Li Ling included I guess, will understand Soul Fusion but being the audience who wants good old entertainment, ie me, I will go for Platinum and JDI for sure. Furthermore, I think the judges are singing too many high praises for Soul Fusion that it gets...well...irritating.. Let me give you an analogy to explain this situation. The judges sing song praises for Soul Fusion,especially for the technical skills in the dance, makes Soul Fusion the elitus in the whole bunch of dance groups...Now imagine Soul Fusion is the elitus in your school i.e the prefects or student body... Now who can tell me, they honestly LOVE these people in school? A lot of my peers, me included, often find ourselves rolling our eyes and expressing our "meluak-ness" of these groups in school.Why? Coz the teachers have only high praises for them which makes the student masses...well ...irritated. And I feel the same is happening here. But of course, this is just my opinion. There can be 101 reasons why the viewers are not receptive towards Soul Fusion. But I do think the guy in that group is cute and he's seriously good. But as a group as a whole, I would gladly switched off my TV if it was just them in the show. Give me Platinum, JDI,Fantastic 4 and styles from beyond...now that's entertainment... then I'll be satiated.
