Only one word to explain today...

HAPPENING!!!!!

First of all... I'm so bloody not artistic.. Went to Art Friend to buy stuff for Pipi and boy is the place big and confusing.... I spend 20minutes just trying to choose which canvas thingy to buy...Lucky I'm not interested in drawing and whatnots....

Next met up with Nurul to survey Arab St fabrics for Raya... not bad I say...but expensive and anyway... I already bought my kain from Geylang...

But being the sot dot we are... we forgot it's friday and by the time we finish our lunch..it was already time for Friday prayers...So we walked to POW(Prince of Wales)first...the place we did the backpacker project and boy have things changed....It's weird coz we defintely didn't realised it's been 7months since we left there

First they change the decor a bit...and the stage is gone too...Then we found out Joe is married. Happy Newly wed dude...and Bjorn(Afrika Selatan guy) no longer works there... But netherless it was fun. That place have this slack, laxed feel to it...So you would find it fun to just hangout with your friends there... But for those a bit conservative... Be warned though... POW is a pub.

With Joe..he said if we wanted to work there and we said Yes...haha... we'll see how eh.

Next was Arab St...After surveying the kain...we decided to survey the place...Well...Im quite out of touch with Arab St...so it was indeed an eye-opener for me.

The "tourist" me

After watching Sweets for my sweet episode with Aaron Aziz and his wife... we decided to look for the bakery they went to... Jakun mah

Pusing punye pusing...tak jumpe la...so we end up going to the Taman Warisan...wanted to go for the museum..but must pay... Wth!

So we did the next best thing... we cam-whore di perkampungan kampong glam... Haha

And finally after arguing which road to take to find the hidden bakery...we found the place. It's not as hidden as we thought it would be...
I bought Saleha

It is seriously good people... Remind me of the chocolate thingy Isnan bought for us at Bakerzin.. But that was very rich in taste and quite expensive... This on the other hand is very light on the tastebuds....a tinge of fruitiness and well...affordable... $2.80... Worth every penny
Nurul bought the pastry. You should have seen her... When we reach Coffee bean...she was complaining how the Coffee bean cake look nicer and how the pastry she bought from Indulge is cold and that she hate cold pastry... But when she took a bite of it... Her face just light up as she let out "My God"... it was good people... Very light for the tastebud which is refreshing bcoz nowadays pastry and cakes can be quite rich and heavy.

Next was yet another meet-up with Afro aka Faizal... didn't take photo coz we were too engrossed talking about everything under the KFC light...
Definitely a fun day... abit tiring coz we walked here and there..but worth the leg ache I am having now... Happening I tell you...Happening!!!!
