I watched Tyra Show this morning after my pre-dawn meal. And you know what I feel. I feel like we should all go on our knees and hail America's TV.Only in America's TV show can you see people publicly telling the whole world their secrets. " Oh I have drug addiction and I need help.. in national..hell let's make it international TV". In Singapore, you'll probably be thrown into DRC the moment you say drug. I'm quite amazed at how these Americanese. I am amazed at their ease of airing their dirty laundry on TV. By all mean, get help. But why choose to air it on TV where millions of those who don't even know why you're fucked up in the first place are watching. I'm not saying these TV shows are bad. If they're helping, then hurray for both the show and the guest themselves. What I'm peeved about is us who are watching. I hate the fact that I am and I'm sure many others who are watching are watching it purely for entertainment purposes. We are talking about watching someone who is almost overdosed that they barely made it to the studio or that someone who is so suicidal,we might not know if that person is going to try anything the next day. But yet we are watching it like it's one big drama on TV. That irks me.Coz I end up question my morality. Why am I watching this?

Don't people now know secrecy? What happen to the very notion of secrets? That it is a product of you and should always remain yours. Why are these people selling out their secrets so that these shows can make money out of it.If it's too much of a secret and you need help. Please get professional help. We are talking about Tyra Banks, Oprah Winfrey and Dr.Phil.Not that I'm saying their bad advisors or counsellors. But they are running a show and part of the reason why they're a hit is because you let them exploit your secrets, your problems.

I have secrets and I have tonnes of them. And I have it stashed somewhere in this big world wide web, hidden. And that's how I feel secret should be.Hidden.
