I slept at frigging 5am this morning and am awake at 10am. Seriously when it's school time, this shit wouldn't happen at all la.

Am sick too and would prolly zonked out soon if this medicine is as strong as the doctor promised to be.

Pancake party at friggin 7pm.
But it was more like big(ass)breakfast party for me, coz I am more protein with pancake kind of girl rather than maple syrup.Come to think I didn't even touch the syrup.

Next up: Burger party! On New Year's eve. Plan plan plan!
Didn''t watch Asian Idol as we were too engrossed talking about random stuff while watching the Man U vs Liverpool game. Ok to be honest, it was all of us talking but only Fiza, Suresh and Khairul watching soccer. Me, Yunus and Norman seriously had no idea wat's going on and was spewing wrong names throughout the match. Almaklum nak tunjuk pandai tapi bodoh sombong.

Oh but seriously our convo was damn random ok yesterday. From kuda kepang to pocong to death to health. You name it, we talked about it.

But the ghost stories freak me out though I think I was the first one who talked about it. Lucky got cars ah. Ade jugak orang nak tumpangkan, if not it's the friggin bus for me.

Oh I am supposed to talk about how Hady won didn't I?

Here's the thing. As much as I love Hady and his voice, I seriously thought there was no way in hell Hady was going to win. Please Beautiful Day? The fuck! And he should have just sang merpati or lagenda as a matter of fact. But no, some Malay translation of Holding on. As much as the song is not that bad, it still lack something-Taufik singing it!

So me and my friends have come up with theories why he won.

Suresh suggested that it's because of Temasek Holdings. Haha. He's the more educated theorist. He said that Indonesia's telecom is controlled by Temasek so maybe Temasek could prolly changed some votes. Unlikely but hey it's a theory.

Then Nurul suggested a few. ..
My fave- maybe Hady do black magic. Hahahah

But I seriously think this is what happened.

You see you have to vote for 2 countries in one sms. So people might have voted Singapore as the 2nd vote after their 1st choice purely on strategic reason. You see Singapore has only 4 million people compared to million million in the other countries. So they probably assumed that there's not going to be a lot of votes for Singapore, so instead of giving advantage to other countries whose population are off the chart( the fuck 1 billion people, somebody gotta learn birth control!), vote for the country whose less likely to get a lot of votes. Please 4 million people compared to 10-100million ppl in our country.(excluding the fact that probably only less than 50% would actually vote), that's a good strategy la. But the thing is, probably everybody thinks that and unknowingly give Singapore the added advantage that we need. So ta-dah Hady won.

Don't get me wrong. I love Hady voice. He was good that day but not as good as the rest. The rest were powerhouse inspirational I-am-in-a-frigging-competition singers. Hady looks and sound like he's doing the New Year's Countdown. So imagine the shock when I heard his name announced.

Nevertheless, Congrats and you made us proud. Now you can run from riding behind the shadow of Taufik coz you're now a star on your own right.

Ok I think the doctor lied. My nose is still blocked and I am not feeling sleepy at all.
