So for yesterday and today, I've been "busying" myself with Natasha's wedding, who is Za's sister.

Friday was rewang...came with these girls

Ask me what I did for rewang.

Very important job ok. I served Nina all night long. Lol.. Suzie aku nak epok-epok sardin, suzie air..suzie sane suzie sini. I'm such a nice friend.

But its ok..the food were kickass and there's Bone steak! Som som...ermmmm...fattening heart clogging buttery goodness.

Eating bone steak is no funny business ok. Look at the intensity on Za's face. Hahaha

Today was the wedding itself which is held at the basement of Masjid Al-Iman.

Didn't take the next few shots, coz I was busy eating so asked Za to take photos for me instead. But being the "veteran" at attending wedding, let me just give it a shot and explain what's happening ok..

This is the bride waiting for her groom.

In Malay this is called bertandan(g)..Sorry I forgot if there should be a g or not.

This part is where the groom faced his first barrier.

This barrier kencang ok. Got pendekar...got dayang-dayang and if you look closely, even weapons are involved.

After the 1st barrier, usually heralded by the family members, he then faces the 2nd one, now by the mak andam.. Geesh...can't a man get a break at these wedding. Just let him see his bride la for goodness sake.Hahahah..

Finally together at last.

The mempelai

Then it was the silat performance, lead by the bride's brother himself.

I have to say I am impressed by these silat kids.
