I wanted to find that peribahasa equivalent to "when in rome, do what the romans do"... I know it goes something like...masuk kandang lembu..me-somethingsomething, masuk kandang kambing menggembek. I forgot what's moo in malay you see. Asked Pipi(since he's still in school) what's that word I was looking for, he simply replied...

Menggemoo.

Mampos! Hancur!

Asked Dee and she replied. masuk kandang lembu menggembek...

Told Fiza and she replied menggembu.

WTF is menggembu.

Asked Yunus, the Malay teacher in training, he said he never heard of such peribahasa at all and assumed I was talking about Malaysia syllabus.

Beginikah taraf bahasa melayu kita sekarang? Hancur Hancur! LOL.

Update:
Apparently there's no lembu at all in the peribahasa. It's masuk kandang harimau menggaum, masuk kandang kambing menggembek. Hahaha. I still want to know what's moo in malay though.
