So I finally went to get the teeth checked out. Went to the school dentist, fully booked,..." I see if I can slot you in". Gee thanks. Called polyclinic, "I'll see if I can slot you in let's say wednesday"...Err I'm in pain, thankyouverymuch. Finally I decided to go to a private clinic. Had an Xray done. "Good news is there's no tooth decay, your molar is actually ok. Bad news is, it's you wisdom tooth. It's showing sign of decay and it's resting on a nerve".
So the dentist continued to say that I cannot have a normal wisdom tooth surgery. Instead I am to see an oral specialist. Estimate cost 800-1000bucks. Nak mampos! So I asked if I can use medisave instead. He said yes but since they are a private clinic, I am supposed to pay upfront first then later do the paperworks for medisave. But the dentist said, the medisave probably would only cover like up to 600bucks, so I still have to pay the rest. Yeah, tell me where to get 200-400 bucks.So I've made an appointment at Woodlands polyclinic so that they can refer me to an oral specialist. Hopefully at a heavily subsidised price and full coverage from medisave. Urghh the thought of surgery is so not what I need now. Of all the time, the tooth is choosing the wrong time to mess up. It's puasa man and all I can think about is drowning myself with the painkiller(though as the dentist had said it, it wont work much coz its a nerve problem I am facing with) And I've never been so busy with school...
