So if you've seen my facebook and msn profile, it says my laptop's down. This is me curik pakai the pc at home.
The pain is now gone..Woohoo! Alhamdulilah. Went to Alexandra Hospital.Glad that the dentist says she can do it for me on the same day itself. But what comes next was so unexpected. I know it is called a surgery but I didn't think it would be really like a surgery. Its for a tooth for goodness sake.I was escorted into the surgery room where I had to lie on the surgical table/bed thingy.they covered me up first with a blanket, then another blanklet. And then they actually covered my face with those green "blanket" only to have a big hole around my mouth area. Scary shit if you ask me. I remembered how Erna told me it is still going to be a bit painful and how now her lower lips is numb due to the nerve injury during the surgery, all of which I have been brief about prior to the surgery and even had a disclaimer form to sign on.So knowing all this, all I did was to chant every possible prayers I know. I was so holy, it's a pity I was not fasting. The injection to numb the areas around my teeth was horrible. I can feel her poking it through my cheeks even. Urghhh...but the fact that it totally left me mouth immobilised and un-painful till 6 hours later, I thank you watever drug you are.
Now comes the good part, the surgery itself. So I know they were going to cut my teeth into several pieces before removing the tooth, but what escaped me is that they were going to drill and cut it off with this small cutting utensils which sounds eerily like a chainsaw, sawing through my teeth. I didn't see it coz as I said, my face was covered but thank God for it, coz the sound is enough to throw me into another rounds of prayers. So now I have 2 tooth less, removed the one in pain, which is at the lower left side and also removed the top left side as recommended by the dentist. The latter was ok, all I felt was she hooking it to one of her tools and pulling it out. No pain but I do feel the pressure and the wind that blew in after that.HAHA.
Am glad I waited, coz... well the torture was bad la. I don't deny that..many times I wanted to give up and just go to normal dentist..but the fact that the whole thing only cost me half the price the first dentist quoted and I don't have to pay a cent coz it will be done through medisave..is quite good deal I say. Nak hari raya oi... I would feel too guity for days later if I had asked my mum to pay for the surgery in cash.
And man was the sleep yesterday good. I was so excited that the pain was gone, after the surgery, with the gauze still in my mouth and losing the motoring function of my mouth, I kept telling Jo. TONIGHT I SLEEP! Hahah..And sleep I did. And thank God for the painkillers. I did feel quite a lot of pain yesterday around 6 when the anaesthetic has worn off, but the painkiller was really strong and ta-dah no pain! And the steroids(yes they gave me steroids), really helped with the swelling. No more puffy fish! Yeah...yeah...yeah..takde sakit..tak bengkak.Alhamdulilah
But boohoo no net at night till Monday(hopefully, they better get my laptop right again ah). Sigh. And the readings that awaits me. Aye aye aye!
2 weeks down and 2 more weeks to raya people. How freaking fast is that! .. yeah Yeah I know Norm, not fast enough. =p
