I know having the colour black at your wedding is the in thing now. Black with red, black with pink. But, as much as black will go with any colour, you still need to practice discretion...hmm wait...more like taste.

I was walking towards Greenridge Centre and I honestly thought it was some chinese funeral or something, coz the colours were blinding me. As I approached nearer, all I can think about is...is it halloween again? Did October 31st come twice this year? Yes black in the in thing now, but black and orange...seriously? Halloween called, they want their colour scheme back. All the wedding was missing are pumpkins and ghoul cutouts. Ok to be fair, I hope the wedding will be beautiful. Two people celebrating their love... great for them,my best wishes. And I have nothing against orange, I do think it's a great colour. But on taste level for a fricking wedding, I'm sorry...black and orange cloth tenting the reception, orange tablecloths with black seat covers, those planted pots you see at school ceremonies lining edges of the dais and the dais...omg the dais...it was black trimmings with this orange ruffles thingy at the back. It's one thing to want to keep up to date, it's another to actually have the trend right.

While again I emphasized black can go with pretty much anything but certain colour combinations should be omitted, especially on your fricking wedding. Bright neon colours like orange, lime green, yellow should be kept at bay, don't you think? Black and red is nice, so does black and pink, I've yet to see other colour combi, but I would think black and blue or purple, in certain shades that is, would be nice also. But I've yet to see any in those colour, so can't say much.

Black and orange.. *shakes head*

Ok la A for effort, if they were thinking they want something out of the box. For all I know, they might have wanted the halloween theme for their wedding. *shrugs*
