Today I had a long interesting day....

First, I got locked in my own room. Nope not because I was grounded or wat... a bit too old for that don't you think so...HAHA...but the door knob got stuck and there I was trying to open the door for good 15 minute. When I realised my attempt is futile, we decided to call the locksmith. He came, "tumpil" the door and he got startled by the sight of me sitting at the edge of my bed just looking at what he's doing... He went to my aunt and say "wah I thought no one in the room, lucky I come first ah, I was about to go to woodlands for other jobs"....

Then it was off to cut hair... Yeah so happy though it is a bit too short.... but its ok I think I look fresher now....

Next was a quick stopover to Isetan to send my handphone for servicing... Is it me or Singapore service line is a bit too packed with the Pinoys. I have nothing against them, coz well one...they can speak english and they are the friendly lot but I would rather have a local friendly staff than "imported" ones, you know...

Then it was to the Raflles Hospital I go..for the MOE checkup thingy. One funny incident happen when the doctor is trying to listen to my heartbeat. As I had skipped lunch, I was pretty hungry at 4.30pm...so when she was trying to listen to my heartbeat, there goes my tummy beating its own rhythm... It was grumbling so loudly I had to say sorry 3 times to the doctor. And in the end, she just laughed and told me, I want to listen to your heartbeat but your tummy is a bit too noisy for me... HAHAHA.... there was nothing I can do except to blush and say sorry again.

A meetup with a friend later reminded us how Singaporeans we both are coz when there was a fire in Bugis Junction( one of the flower pieces hanging on some pillars was burning dangerously near the white tent near Mcd), we automatically took out our camera...HAHAHA..kaypoh siol.

The convo I had with that friend also make me realised again why I love the peejots and how gentlemanly the peejots boys are(though they can be asses sometimes =p ) I think it's just basic courtesy for guys to ask the girls if they need to be sent home, regardless of how independent the girl may be or how the girl always say no or how she is just a friend. I admit I am someone who is rather independent. Perhaps its more because I always feel bad if a person have to send me home... but that doesn't mean I don't want to be asked either. I am always glad to see how gentleman the peejot boys are, asking if we girls need a lift home or to anywhere. Yunus, Lim and Fahrur are always there to give a ride, to the point of actually bothering to come all the way to bukit panjang... Norm never failed to ask if I need to be sent home after a night out, even though we are both taking the lrt. Even Naz and his gf Sitti insisted and bothered to send me home when I can just take the 922 which barely take me 5 minutes. So hmm, forgive me for being a bitch sometimes because I expected more. I am not trying to be a pain but I think it's always a good basic courtesy for guys to ask and not assume.

I have said this before and I will say it again... I may be a buddy buddy but I am still a girl... it's always nice to have gentleman around you. And no I don't believe chivalry is dead coz I see them in the boys and boy am I glad.
