I had the most awesome 4 days, if you have read my twitter. previous post and facebook. Saturday was karaoke with the peejots followed by Pipi's 17th birthday on Sunday. Free movie on Monday. Monsters Vs Aliens was awesome. Must watch and don't be afraid to laugh coz I know I laughed the loudest. Hee. I love Bob the Blob...too cute! And yesterday was trip to JB with the partner in crime Fiza and the bromance duo, Lim and Fahrur. THe outcome of that journey. Too much laughter and a full belly.


We went to several places in JB, it feels like a road trip. 1st up was to Holiday Plaza to look for A&W but we found out, the nearest A&W in JB is in PLentong..no idea where that was so we ditched the place for Extra(?) so that Fahrur can have his car washed while we go have lunch. Photos are in Fiza's blog. Me and Fiza went back to memory lane to regain back what's left of our Penang experience. Had the chendol and it made me want to go back to Penang even more, coz the chendol was lacklustre. Penang's chendol was seriously the bomb la! Fiza had the Penang laksa while we shared a plate of Pasembur. All are good but nothing compared to the food in Penang. I bought 2 games also there for the kids at home, of which they are still playing the Ben 10 Alien Force I got for them right now. It's been like what, 2 hours? Haha. Glad they like it. The other game, the wii consoler can't read it, so Fahrur say if he go to JB again, can go change it..yeah!

Next up was Jusco. Never been there and not bad ah..quite big ah. Had Dunkin donuts first

Followed by sushi!!!

Yes people go to JB to do the cheap shopping, we go to JB to lantak muntah kedarah, tak abis-abis makan-makan-makan.

Then it was off next to City Square. But before that, it was the adventure of *echo voice* getting out of Jusco. Haha. You should be there to understand the dangerous yet super hilarious series of event we "endured" yesterday. In the first place, getting out of the carpack was already a hassle..what with the confusing exit signs that were not exactly directing us to the way out. Then when we did eventually get out of the carpark... Here's what happen ok, roughly

Fahrur: eh macam mana nak klua ni
Lim: Kau terus then kau pusing sikit kat roundabout tu.
Fahrur: Abih
Lim: Kau jalan terus ah
Fahrur: (already at the roundabout) kau nak terus macam mana. Ni lane lain( the arrow on that lane showing the opposite arrow so we can't go ahead)
Lim: Iye tak ye
Fiza: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Then Fahrur made one full turn at the roundabout and entered the other lane with incoming cars approaching in the opposite direction

Lim" Eh fahrur kau buat ape ni. Aku takut!

So Fahrur made small detour and we ended back in the Jusco carpark. It was seriously fuck funny. My attempt to describe this event gives no justice to the hilarity of that experience. Us girls sitting behind can do nothing but just to laugh ourselves silly while the boys recounted how scary it was and how dangerous it could be. Haha.. but we girls can't help it. You should listen how the 2 boys fought and Lim's scared voice. Haha.

Anyhoo, upon reaching City Square, we wanted to just have a hot drink and rest for a while. Laughing can be a tiring exercise too, you know. But the roti canai looks too good, so each of us ended up having one roti canai with teh tarik.. Wah best!



But at the end of the day, as much fun as we would have going around JB with our driver from hell, it's the convo we always have at Starbucks that I really look forward to. And boy, can we talk a lot. Haha... from marriage to work to having children. Yup, signs of growing up, especially when we start talking about what citizenship we want our child to be*looks at Fiza* or how much it's needed to have kids.Nevertheless, we still had so much fun.

But as Fiza would put it, we came to JB as friends, we probably went home as enemies. There were a lot of bickering, teasing, fighting, all with a dose, wait make it too many doses, of laughter. Jom ,masuk Johor lagi, yok!

Hanim
